2026 marks not only my 56th year around the sun but my 44th as a pond hobbyist and my 35th as the founder and owner of Aquascapeinc. I felt it was finally time to tell my full pondering journey, warts and all! I want to encourage fellow hobbyists not to give up on their dreams and water feature professionals to persevere despite all the inherent challenges of being self employed. You will see in these pages that I pretty much made every mistake possible in my early years. But, those mistakes proved to be the opportunities to fix what was wrong while developing even better “mousetraps” to improve peoples experiences with their water features. Today Aquascapeinc has grown into the largest manufacturer of professional grade pond equipment in the world! Our hobbyist background and passion for working with Mother Nature, not against her, became the unique Aquascape Ecosystem approach to pond building.
