A scandalous past, a godly present, and a woman seeking refuge from both.
Riley Cavanaugh spent her childhood as a preacher's daughter and her twenties as the infamous porn star Riley Jane. Now a single mother, she spends her days fleeing across state lines, changing towns every time a fan recognizes her, desperately shielding her daughter from the life she left behind.
After a detour lands her in small-town Texas, Riley is drawn into the unexpected orbit of an unconventional pastor's wife. For the first time ever, faith feels like sanctuary rather than prison. With the help of a fake name and hair dye, Riley lets down her guard, blinded by grace. But a sharp edge to this mercy stirs familiar suspicion. As the glossy paint peels, Riley wonders if this community that's built on godly performance hides secrets of its own.
