The Living God challenges the church of Jesus Christ to look for renewal from the only One Who can give it: God Himself. Lloyd-Jones argues that Christians’ labors in scholarship, apologetics, evangelism, and reformation are good and necessary, but we must constantly remember that we are absolutely dependent on the God Who acts. Believe Him, and seek His face for His kingdom-advancing interventions in the affairs of men.
