In Depth, Do Us Part

In Depth, Do Us Part might be a good alternate title for Riley Sager’s The House Across The Lake, or maybe change it to Houses Across…, or really just call it deliciously amazing plot device used to excellent effect. Oh yeah, I loved it. Tension so tight it makes your molars grind. Itchy moments that leave you wringing your hands. And twists? Enough to end your craving for roller coasters 🎢!!! My kind of book!
Hard to read

I’m sorry but I thought this was supposed to be a mystery or thriller. Instead I would say this is sci fi. I really struggled to get thru it. Horrible ending.

I was expecting the same ole same ole script…that is so easy to come by these days and could not be happier with this past book. Hands down a top fave.
Big twists and surprises

I enjoyed this book. Well built mystery. Some big surprises I did NOT see coming. The nature of those surprises may not be for everyone but I certainly enjoyed the unanticipated turn of events.
Book went sci-fi towards the end

A bit disappointing.
Five Stars Until It Wasn’t

This had all the potential to be a great book. Then, the story took on some elements that required the reader to suspend all sense of reality. Other reviews have also touched on this and I fully agree.
The House Across The Lake

It was an interesting plot, but I feel like Tom’s storyline should have been a little more surprising than it was.
