Once an Omega operative for the Alliance, Selaynia has spent years trying to atone for the orders she followed, and the people she lost. When a derelict Omega shuttle drifts into Melpomene Station, she recognizes it instantly: it once belonged to her mentor, Conrad Nolan, the man she was forced to kill.
Defying orders, Selaynia boards the shuttle, only to be whisked across the stars to a mysterious world called Omega Shadows. There, she discovers Nolan alive, or something wearing his face, and an invisible presence that calls to her and her telepathic wolf partners.
