One of the better memoirs of a thru-hiker that I have read. By turns funny, insightful, wistful and challenging. Good character development and a good sense of the effort needed to walk. Colorful and descriptive providing a real sense of place.

Insightful and heartfelt humor. Hape included the reader throughout his journey. Wonderful book!
