Perfect novella to get back into the series after a little break.

Short and sweet fluff. I loved seeing this little slice of life.

I almost never write reviews. Because mostly everything has been said by the time I get to it. But if I could add to this one…this book is special. Not grand, not catching. Special. Necessary. Organic perhaps. At least to me. Thank you Sarah 🩶
Mildly Disappointed

This book rambles on and on! Honestly, there’s no real plot here just brackish watery character development at best.

There was absolutely no plot to this book.
Why?

I mean if you’ve read the first three you’re going to read this one too but it made me wonder if her contract with her publisher required a book before it was ready? It’s obviously setting up for the next book and I suppose it was like a nice relaxing cup of tea compared to the first three but don’t expect the sun, the moon and the stars.
The worst book in the series

After the other books this one really let me down. I was addicted to these books then I read this one and was just super bored. It’s also incredibly short.
Missed the mark

Tone completely shifted with this book. I enjoyed parts of it but it felt like massive portions of character development were left incomplete and the ending seemed extremely rushed and unnatural.
Disappointed

Seems like this could have been condensed to a chapter or two in the final book in the series rather than it being a stand alone book on its own. Frankly disappointing that it was a separate book, particularly when it cost almost as much as the others, and yet extremely short! Felt like a way to get people who wanted to read the whole series to spend more money.
